Answer to your emptiness. He is standing right there.
Before i became a true christian, i bullied my friends, scolded vulgarities and became a "sex maniac".
I enjoyed doing all these things. But when i am left alone, i would think: what on earth are all these for? Then i will get angry and frustrated... I was a christian, but i never understood God. I am a greatly backslided christian. I cannot pray well, i cannot commit myself. I am in control of my own life.
"What are all these about?"
"Why am i in this world?"
Then one day, Christ rescued me, as if, out of 6 billion men, he loved me just the same as he does if there is only one. How can he, that if i backslid so much, would still unconditionally accept me? Then i broke down. He still loved me after all these. I never felt God's love in my life before that time ever before. God took me up. And developed me to what i was today.
I know what i am here for. Every answer is Jesus.

I know it because i experienced it.
I am doing a school research on satanism, so to do as much damage possible to darkness. And what i found, is that, you may be the happiest man. But if you are without God, you feel empty. Jesus died. For YOU. YOU. For US! for YOU! PERSONALLY! He died because he loved you so much. You feel an emptiness in your life. Jesus is just there, standing at the door, knocking it. saying, "open the door and i will make your life full". He understands. He comprehends.
And if you open that door, accept his love, i tell you,
you life will surely be full.
For you had found the light for the darkness, the occupant for the emptiness.

After reading the book "From witchcraft to christ", which is an autobiography by this woman Doreen Irvine, i am greatly assured.
She told of many things of her past. She was once a drug addict, prostitute, strip-tease, satanist and queen of witches. And now she is a full fledged spirit filled evangalist. It was all because of 2 questions in her heart: How can i find true hapiness and love? what am i born for?
She turned to christ in one crusade, when she is deeply shaken by a singer's words. She accepted christ that day. Demons are cast out of her body, in a course of seven months. There are FORTY SEVEN demons in her spirit. During this "exorcism" sessions, the demons would manifest and she would not remember anything until it is all over. There was once a demon told her (audibly) to take a knife and kill the person who is going to cast demons out of her. She was real afraid. And suddenly, the demon manifested and took over her body. she did not remember anything she did until she was calmed down and became "normal".
She told of satan and how he looked like. When she went to the satanic temple, she actually SAW satan, along with other satanists in the same place. Satan is described as a "black figure with a distorted face....".
Friends, what i want to tell you is that, Satan is VERY real. (But that does not mean that God is not real....)
You may see all the witchcraft, like levitation, curses, are all caused by demons! they are surbordinates of satan. Those witches can become invisible because the demons caused them to. Why? Coz this is EVIL and it is against God. Evil of all sorts are actually greatly encouraged in satanism. If demons were to appear one day, do not doubt the existence of God. For God created them. For these are things whose jobs are to purely to oppose God, no matter what it is. And we must stand firm. For God is the almighty and NOTHING NOTHING is EVER EVER EVER impossible for him. We need to remember this, lest we are in doubt.
One day, satan may just speak to you, even if you are the strongest christian in the world, that you will fail, and the only way is to go to him. He may give you nightmares, and all these so you may look yourself as if you are a failure, and had fallen short of God. There was once this old woman whose grandson who turned from a christian to satanist and witch, was sitting in her house when she suddenly sensed evil in the room. Then to her horror, she saw a DEMON in front of her! BUT IN JESUS NAME!!!!!!! THAT DEMON IS CAST OUT!!!!! Her grandson later repented with floods of tears, and became a very strong christian. He burnt all his witchcraft books, along with all satanic stuff. He became close to the LORD.
One day, satan may TALK and MATERIALIZE in front of you. You may be afraid. But it will not to be. For

What can christ NOT DO?
If God and satan meet, satan must bow.
Do not doubt. What God gives is everlasting love that will never fade nor end. What satan cares for is ONLY for things that will benefit him. Yet God calls for everyone. He loves everyone even if he is a prostitute, satanist, drug addict, strip-tease, or a witch. That is why people of many races are christians.
Satan is very real. God is very real. But God is our creator, the ALMIGHTY, PRINCE OF PEACE, ALPHA AND OMEGA, LOVER OF OUR SOUL, will be our pillar. He is the rock of the building, the spring of the desert, the light of a cave, the comfort to the troubled. When we ask for God, he is always ready to recieve with open arms. As the holy spirit is with you, let him guide you.

yesterday, prayer meeting ended early.
and so i went back early. after saying bye bye to my church friends, i went to seven eleven and do spastic stuff. Then i walked out, and saw an elderly woman drop a cardboard box. i helped her pick it up. She told me to go, for she did not want to trouble me. But i explained to her that i still have time. So we walked to her house. What she is collecting are used can drinks that could be found at the area around her. Bags of can drinks are needed to be exchanged for cash.
When i reached her house, it is real run-down. It gotta be the worst conditioned "terrace" house i see at that area. The house does not have a yard, except for a parking lot. I talked with her. She told me that she is seventy-five. She is a christian and attends church every sunday. Presently, she is having diabatees. She had to pay for her bills, thats why she is collecting the cans to exchenge them for money to pay the hospital. Praise God! I also learnt of her ninety year old husband, who is ageing and dieing quickly. He literally have to spend the rest of his life on that chair. I wanted to see her husband. The lady brought me in the house. The house is warm, and air is still. There was not even a fan! except for the bedROOM. However, there is a television set, oven, iron, stove, fridge. All the necessities except ventilation devices.
The i saw her husband.
He is as thin as bones. His thighs have shrunk the the size of my upper arm. His ribs can be seen, even though he is wearing a shirt. He cannot walk, and he is blind. Like a poor man wasting his life on a chair. He cannot do anything except moving his hands, and talking. I had never seen a man so badly conditioned before. Feeling a need to do so, i talked to him in chinese. Telling him my church, and my name. I told him to remember the times when he is so close to the Lord and not to forget them, so he could find joy. He is a christian too. And finally i told him that i would remember their family in my prayer. Throughout the course of the conversation, he did not speak a word.
After that i left the house, and i continued to talk to the elderly woman. We talked about her filial sons. One will always, without fail, come back every night and help his father to bed. Another, who is working in england, will always every week send money to her for her expenses. Whenever he is back, he would stay for 2 weeks, visit the church with the family, and bring back a lot of things.
At around 1010, her son came, and was curious (or alarmed) by my presence. Now i know that i have to go. Her son and his wife thanked me for helping her. Praise God. God arranged it all right.
so i stood at the gate and talked to the lady for another 15 minutes. We talked about church, and she asked me about school. To my surprise, she attends the cantonese service! After that she blessed me, and thanked God. I did the same. I only reached home at 10.35.
I did remember them in my prayers.
It is as if it is so well planned by God! If the prayer meeting hadn't ended early, i would not had met her. If i had not went to seven eleven to do MORE spastic stuff, i would not have met her. If i had walked straight home, i would not have met her too.
Coincidence?
Think again.
Prayer
Ask yourself: What will i do if i have only five months left in the world?
Surely, you want to leave something big behind so that you will not be forgotten. Now christians, think about this. In this five months left in the world, you want to leave a legacy for God. God alone.
You remember how you are saved, and how God had walked through the years with you, carrying you in the bad times, accompanying you in the good times. You had walked past these years in earth, up and down, for a few years. And suddenly, you are told: God will take you to heaven in five month's time.
WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
You cannot do much in five months. You want to leave a print on everyone's mind. You want to do all you can. But everytime you think of this FIVE MONTHS you have left on earth, you got demoralized. But remember, this five months are God's will. And whatever is in God's will is always the best. So for this five months left, ask God, for what can you do. If he had shown you something, do it. Do whatever God asks you to do and be ready in service. He who has a ear, let him hear, he who has a eye, let him see, he who has a mouth, let him speak what the spirit is to say to him.
Do not be detered by the time. Do you know it is at this time that you really need God the most? And do you know that the more you trust him, the better it will be?
Remember. Although the works that are done in five months are little, but in God, these works will be so extensive that they are uncomprehensable, immeasurable, and of such great effectiveness. The legacy you leave will make people's eyes look to God. For God is the cause of all these. God is the one. He is the almighty, and the planner of these to happen.
Trust God. "I can do ALL THINGS through CHRIST who strengthens me" phil. 4.13
Just dont go over
Who says that when you are a christian, to keep with God, you must be away from all worldly influences?
Who says that when you follow God, you must give up on all materialistic interest?
Firstly, these are misconceptions. I would like to adress with the first one first. That statement is true to some extent, but the real one is that you must not be CARRIED AWAY BY worldly influences, so much that they hinder your relationship with God. Remember, you are always bombarded by worldly influences. It is only God, and your eyes on God that can prevent these worldly influences from invading you. To be addicted to worldly influences is like literally worshiping a singer, or pop star until he gets to the center of your life, like your second God. That you will die for him or something. Dont get me wrong. It is good to have someone as your "idol". So you could learn from him, or that you just like him. But do not go over the limit. It will kill you if you do.
Adressing to the second point, this statement is completely wrong. As the same as the first sentence, do not get addicted to it so much that when you lose all these, you want to kill yourself. God WANTS you to prosper. He loves his children. If it is said, ever so clearly, in the bible, that God loves you, and that he wants you to prosper, why should you give up all material interest. It is alrite to chase after models of handphones, it is alright to have software programming as your hobby! But the wrong thing is that, you place these first in your life. What makes some christians misunderstand about money is that, money is the root of all evil. It is correct. But as a christian, it is great to be RICH! But do not HOARD and SQUANDER on it every so much that it becomes the center of your life, that it becomes your life!
What is a man, who gains the world, but loses his soul??

Remember what you prayed for?
Remember how you still hoped in the Lord in times of persecution?
God snatched you from satan. SNATCHED. In a way ever so graceful!!
One day, if you feel away from him, and the times you are living is bad,
or your relationship with God is bad. Remember these things.
Think about these things. They will get you back to God.

True friends
They always talk about it.
But just need to know that,
They treat you the same just for who you are. They are with you in the good and bad times. Everyone in the world could celebrate with you. But only your true and faithful friend would stand with you at your darkest hour. Its easy for one to say this. But not easy for one to do it.
A true friend would not follow the crowd on gossips about you. A true friend will not laugh at the gossips. He treats you just the same. If you tell your biggest bad bad habit to a friend, a true friend would help you to get rid of the habit. He or she will still look at you as though nothing had happened. He or she will not shun you and give a face of pretendance.
A true friend would help you even though you are aiming for the same target with only one place available, for example, topping the school, or being the first choice keeper of the club. A true friend places himself or herself with you.
It is easy for a person to write in testimonials in friendster that he or she is your true friend that goes with you to your darkest times.
However, you could only know if your darkest times arrive.
Because God is the cause.
Today chruch rox. Usually, when i go church, i will only remember and practice about 10% of what what they teach, i wont get anything. But today, when i reached my church, i knew that i would absorb everything. And i did. Remember these 2 passages.
"And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
"This, then, is how you should pray: 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.' " Matt 7-13 NIV
"Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does." James 1:22-25 NIV
Do not forget what the bible is for. The way society relates bible to now, is like a fictional book, a storybook, a textbook, or just, a very thick book that is impossible to finish. But do not let all these hinder you. The bible is for you to read God's word and follow it. As said in James, when you read God's word. you are like reflecting yourself in the mirror, remembering all your facial features. After you read them, you dont forget them.
"I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture." John 10:9 NIV
When you read God's word, remember it. And when you pray, the reason of why you have to persistently pray and pray and pray is NOT for your voice to be heard. God is not a search engine. The reason for it to be heard is for you to show your need and sincerity. God knows all your needs even before you asked him. And it is up to you to be humble enough to tell him that you need them. Through prayer, you are trusting God, you are humbling yourself. You express your needs to God. You show that you persist and you need them. God loves you unconditionally no matter what you had done. He knows your needs. And he WANTS to establish an intimate realtionship with you. He loves it when you tell him how's your day, how sad or happy you are. He loves it when you tell him how much you want your computer game, how much you love him. He loves it when you ask him what to do to score well for the exams, and when you ask him whether you should buy an ipod or a zen touch. Prayer is a 2 way relationship. It is not just you talking to God. It is God talking to you as well! He answers your prayers in many ways. He gives you visions, dreams, impressions. Of course, sometimes he will TALK audibly to you. He can give you a verse in a scripture, and all these "coincidental" experiences. But beware. Do not ask man, why these happen, for they would only give scientific explanations by logic. These are the way God answers prayers. What can science explain about God?
How can science explain the empty tomb? How can science explain the healing of Cancer within 1 minute? How can science explain the healing of the lame, just by words? How can science explain the hundreds of martys who die each day for the testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ? How can science explain the laughter and the tears that flow for 2 hours from a person who is overcome by the holy spirit? How can science explain the raising of the dead? How can science explain the healing of the blind and deaf, just by words? All these are still happening TODAY. Can science explain them?
Never, could they.
Because God is the cause. And science is NOT God.
Suppress that skepticism and pride.
When in NCC traning. Whenever there are any officers that have to shout at us, i will hear some skeptical whisper criticizing the specialist or officer. I could hear gossips, cowardy gossips.
but what that inspired me to post this message is because of the pride and hypocrisy of man.
Whenever a officer shouts at us when it is OUR fault, for example, inability to fall in on time, there will be people complaning that this officer is stupid, gay, retarted, pms, crazy. Sometimes, of course, it is the officer's fault when he insults someone sacarsitcally, or gives a command in a sacarstic way. But what we ought to show them is respect, in a parade, or when they have a time to take authority. God placed authority over us.
What vexes me is the pride of these men when they blame on the person in charge for their harshness, when it is their mistake. When we make a mistake, we should be remorseful, and try not to do that again. Do not criticize someone for your mistake. When have we (refering to NCC cadets) ever changed? The officers say that we took things too slowly and they have to nag and scold and shout at us for that. When can we ever change for the better and stop that prideful grumbling?
Reason is simple. We are too skeptical and proud.
So proud that we could not be humble enough to admit our mistakes and change for the better.
Sometimes, when your pride does not take the better of you, many accidents could have been prevented.
For example, there is a time when my platoon has to go for physical exercise. we have to jog one round around the school. Then we are blocking a basketballer's path. For basketballers have to train their stamina, they cannot stop running. So the basketballer, without much thinking, pulled my platoon mate's shirt and overtook him. Then his pride got the better. He cursed the basketballer loudly. Consequently, the basketballer stopped and almost fought with my platoon mate. But he told him to relax. Then when the basketballer continued, my platoon mate did the same thing, then the same thing happened.
I, running aside with them, am surely not happy with what that basketballer had done. But i knew that these people must train, and they cannot think well while jogging. Then a word of insult that suddenly pricked them, they would be enraged. But think before you do. Keep quiet, and pray for those who persecute you. Love them. That love does not mean that you can forever be used by them. That's not right. When a person keeps taking advantage of you, stand up and defend yourself. Just defend to tell them that you are not to be taken advantage of. Thats it. Dont go on whack them. God does not want that. He is God's creation as well.
Remember, your pride is one of the most destructive factors for your spiritual growth and your walk with God. You must have personal pride. You could have as much as you want. But you must have much more humility. In your shortcomings, admit them. So you could change.
Do not let this distract your walk with God.
Misconceptions
Christianity is NOT a religon.. its a relation, its NOT a belief, its trust, its NOT a set of rules, but its undying and limitless, unconditional love.
