2 weeks confinement in BMT
Although the day before BMT was filled with uncertainty, blended with a few drops of anxiety, it turned out to be fine one the day of enlistment. I was so excited, for some reason.
It turned out well. 14 days in the army felt like 5 days, I hardly noticed the days past until it was like 4 days left. But still, i've adapted too well man. I felt little liberation in booking out. Thanks to my wonderful bunkmates and platoonmates.
Made known for the 'lats guy' thing, the tongue click, the EMSM, and the 100ml per second drinking speed, the 1500 calorie breakfasts, it made it all the more enjoyable. Our CSM was really nice and funny. A leader by example. Taught us to shoot well and he's no.23rd in the world, taught us to drill well with perfect form. What great section 1 people. Section 1 cheer EMSM. Also during free time playing polar bear. Usually I'll be polishing my boots, listening to their reasoning is a stand-up comedy free of charge. "I am not the killer, like.. why would I be?!". Was literally what one of the guys said when he had nothing to say.
Great to meet and be friends with many different people down here. It is a rare chance, but well-placed in life. I ain't say very excited about the activities. But because there is like PT everyday, I am quite pumped everyday. I love physical exercise, lectures are a time for physical rest, drill lessons are like nothing since I've learned most of it already. So basically I dread nothing in the army. Oh yes, the thing I dislike is AREA CLEANING ._. Freak. have to be so meticulous towards every small speck and placement. Must face certain direction, must be of certain thickness, must be parallel blablabla.
But after all these time it's great to get together with friends and talk and drink about it. More excitement onthe days ahead, this is all we make it out to be :)

Ive been staring and stalling at the "new post" page for 2 hrs, wanting to say but avoiding it, longing to explode but curbing it, sliding down the walls of deep thought but wrangling myself out of it.

church
I've been missing church for 4 weeks. FOUR freaking weeks! It's been so long since I've stepped to the audi, and i miss church man. So i really hope that i can wake up tomorrow (the fact that i'm saying this qualifies me for a wheelchair) on time to go church. What's so hard to get up at 8 when i've done it many times besides school? I think it's seriously time to change this habit man.
But it's always this way. That you're always welcome, that you're always befriended, that no one leaves you out. The first 2 are correct, not the latter(est). Not that i feel this way now, but some of my pals, and including myself in the past, do and had felt this way. It's easy to make a politically correct statement, and all it does it to make it harder to prove. We always say "we will", but honestly, will we?
I guess this is a problem, a normal human problem.. or at least i hope, and i think I'm right. Cos i've been there before? Bummer.
Oh talking about missing something, I can't dance to my school's dance night choreography "
missing you"! FREAK and i miss that dance so much. I'll take it and play it against itself "i can't stop missing you". But actually, I had foreseen this coming. It's the consequence of liking all the dances. One has to go :( Other than that, I think this dance night will turn out really well, unanimously voted the best performance in FOA. I hope this to be true of myself, and for my dancemates, and for the club. I hope the utility gained from the performance far outweighs it's purchasing power on anything else.
The PPP of SG$ must be forever altered by the landmark presentation from Dance Venia.

intersch floorskillz 2008

xinfu, greg, edmund competed for ACS(I) yesterdy few hrs ago in inter sch floorskillz. they won third! winning the TP, the school which beat them last year!
Concordantly, edmund sprained his wrist, and things werent the best for hustle fiends, occasional crashes here and there. Oh and there was one "crash" which edmund got into but recovered so well that everyone gave him props! Xinfu did his stuff really well man! I was so proud of him! Especially the part when he passed his opponent the the spectacles he dropped. He walked to him in a catwalk cheeky way, even the emcee went "ohh, that was SIIIICK!!!" Greg was really great too! his dance clearly shows his enjoyment, taunting opponents in the funniest ways. One time even using his fingers to make rings around his eyes mimicking spectacles, taunting the guy who dropped his specs. All three were aplomb as experienced guys, and im really proud of them man.
But not to say, i am extremely proud for ACS(I). However the only problem is the lack of school flag :(School foto! crew foto also! only problem is, greg isn't in the picture, as usual. don't know where he went again man.
PROPS TO ACS! BARKER AND INDPENDENT FOR THE REMARKABLE BATTLES TODAY!!!Labels: events
